Dating from 1852 the original manor has been considerably upgraded, refurbished and extended to create the hotel that we know today. A cosy lounge, filled with antiques, and a welcoming roaring log fire, superb food and elegant bedrooms, all make for the most truly welcoming and relaxing stay. Be sure not to miss the herd of New Forest Deer grazing in the paddock at the front of the hotel.

Tuesday 23rd December
Arrive in time to enjoy a delicious glass of New Forest Wine and then relax in the lounge in front of the warming log fire with afternoon tea including a selection of sandwiches and cakes. Start the festive season with a predinner drink in the lounge, followed by a four course candlelit dinner with wine, during which our resident pianist will entertain you with your favourite tunes. After dinner, why not have a flutter at the casino tables to round off the evening.

Christmas Eve
Start the day with a delicious Brunch, with coffee and Danish pastries served in the lounge during the morning. Enjoy your day exploring the forest or relaxing in our comfortable lounge. Make sure you’re back in time for afternoon tea with sandwiches and hot Crumpets served in the lounge. Enjoy a four course candlelit dinner with wine accompanied by entertainment from our pianist and table top magician.

Christmas Day
Start the day with a Forestdale Best Breakfast before opening all those presents, and then relax with coffee and Chef’s Christmas Morning Surprise! Don’t forget to have a go at ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas Cake’ competition. A glass of warm Mulled Wine awaits you before the Traditional Christmas five course Lunch with wine. For those of you who still have the room, afternoon tea and Christmas cake served in the lounge. Round the day off with Chef’s Grand Buffet with wine, bring your camera for the spectacular buffet display.

Boxing Day
Brunch will be served in the restaurant – come back as many times as you like! Coffee and Mince pies will be served in the lounge during the morning, before the coach departs for the Mayflower Theatre to see ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ Tea and Hot Muffins with lashings of butter will be waiting on your return. Pat the pianist, along with a soloist will entertain you during your four course candlelit dinner with wine.

Saturday 27th December
A hearty breakfast to set you on your way. Don’t forget all your goodbyes before we bid you a safe journey home. Why not make the most of our St Nicholas Break and stay, additional nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for only £60 per person per night.

Regrettably Burley Manor Hotel has no single rooms. There is a supplement of £50 per room, per night, for a twin or double room for single occupancy.
